Do I need to sign up to VIEW a blog?

  Do I absolutely need to have a wordpress account to accept an invitation in order to view somebody’s else blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If the blog is set to Private, yes you need an account to accept an invitation into the blog to view it – the individual account is how security is maintained so that the blog owner knows exactly who has access to a blog and can remove the person if the owner wants to remove a person from access.
