Do I need to transfer my blog?
-
I recently changed my hosting from wordpress.com to godaddy. I have gotten most of the glitches worked out, but there are still some conflicts between my wordpress.com account, and my wordpress.org account. Do I need to transfer my wordpress.com “blog” to my wordpress.org user name? Even though its still the same website. Will that clear up the glitches that are happening between the two, such as loosing my subscribers when I switched over, and also my blog no longer refreshing on feeds? I still have my domain registered through wordpress.com, so I am guessing I can’t delete that account. How do I remedy these conflicts happening between two accounts trying to hold onto the same website?

These aren’t really conflicts, since your WordPress.com account is different from the account you use to log into your self-hosted WordPress installation.
If you still need to transfer your site’s content that’s hosted at WordPress.com to your self-hosted site, you can do so by following this guide:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-to-wordpress-org
I’ve transferred your subscribers from your WordPress.com blog to your new site.
Your new site’s feed is currently available at:
http://regenerativelifeskills.com/?feed=rss2You can make it appear at http://regenerativelifeskills.com/feed/, and improve your permalinks by activating pretty permalinks:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks#Choosing_your_permalink_structure
Under Settings -> Permalinks in your new dashboard, you can select “Day and Name”, so that your new permalinks match your old ones.

Thank you for all your help! That makes a big difference. I made the changes to my permalinks, and I hope that helps. And I really appreciate you moving my subscribers over!
The only thing that I am still questioning a little bit (as you can tell, I know nothing of the website world) is there no way to fix the feed, so that when people type in regenerativelifeskills.com into their reader to subscribe, that it would come up with my rss2 feed? Because right now if someone just ads my website they aren’t going to get the current feed. They would have to know about the /feed site.
Thank you for helping me through this new experience!

You’re very welcome! :-)
As for the feed, if someone enters http://regenerativelifeskills.com into their RSS reader, or in the WordPress.com Reader, the feed should be automatically detected and used.
Feel free to drop us a line if we can be of any further assistance.
