Do I need to upgrade to change a theme

    Hello,
    I like a theme but it doesn’t have a sidebar where I want to put my recent posts. Other themes I like have a sidebar but have too little width. How do I customize these. Do I have to upgrade by paying $30/year?

    You cannot add a sidebar to a post that doesn’t have one with the Custom Design upgrade. You can widen a column, though, easily. And yes, the only way to do this is to upgrade.
