Do I pay entire $99 if I upgrade to premium after buying a domain with basic?

  Hi! I have the beginner level package with a domain added on (and with privacy) for a total of $26. I’m now considering upgrading to premium where securing the domain is already part of the package. Could the $26 already paid go towards the $99 cost of upgrading to premium or would I be paying for the domain twice? Thanks!

  Since you’ve already purchased a custom domain, the WordPress.com Premium Plan will be made available to you for a reduced cost.

  If you’d like to upgrade, let me know, and I will email you a manual payment link. After you submit payment, I will add the WordPress.com Premium Plan to your site.
