Do I retain WordPress's operation after converting to an external domain?
-
I’m aware that I’m able to convert my WordPress website into a domain name under CrazyDomain. However, I’m not sure if the features of WordPress will retain, eg plugins and widgets. According to a personnel from CrazyDomain, I would be able to retain WordPress’s templates and personalizing features, instead of using scripts to run my website. Is it true that I can keep WordPress’s operation while having CrazyDomain’s website name, space and emails? Do you mind shedding light on my question?

You can use another provider’s domain registration and hosting if you have a self-hosted WordPress.ORG website. This is different from a WordPress.COM website, which is hosted by WordPress but can have a custom domain name upgrade. There are pros and cons to each, and you can read about the differences here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
