Do i still need my iPage Hosting?

  I have hosting with iPage but do all my editing through wordpress and dont see any information about iPage on my wordpress account.

  Do I still need it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I see that your domain is registered with iPage.com. You still need them to host your domain (or you could transfer it to another registrar) but you (probably) don’t need any hosting services from them as your blog is hosted at wordpress.

  Exceptions would be if:

  • You use them to provide email addresses like (email visible only to moderators and staff)
  • You have some subdomains mapped to iPage pages, like http://anypage.nicolasaunders.com

  The emails would be something like anyname AT nicolasaunders.com (with no spaces and the @ symbol)

  how easy is it to transfer with another registrar?

  Not difficult. I transferred all my domains to domainmonster a few years ago so that they are all in one place

  If you go to the registrar that you want to transfer to they will give you explicit instructions and help if you have any issues.
