Do my comments always have to link back to main blog?
-
I have two active WordPress.com blogs, http://juliemcleod.wordpress.com and http://365photosin2009.wordpress.com. When leaving a comment on other WordPress.com blogs, I am automatically signed in under my main blog so the username in my comments links back to the main blog. Can I change it so that my comments link back to the second blog when I wish?
Sorry if I’m asking in the wrong place…

If you are logged in, your comments link to the blog in your user name, in this case, http://juliemcleod.wordpress.com . If you log out BEFORE commenting, you can put in whatever you want to in the website link of the comment box.
There is no way to have your user name link to more than one blog.

You can change the blog linked to your username on your Profile page. Remember to hit Save though. You’d have to change it every single time you wanted this to work, though. Many people find it less trouble to have two IDs, each associated with a different email, and just change the “nickname” also on the Profile page to be identical. Each ID is associated with a different blog, but they APPEAR to be the same otherwise.

Thank you both for the replies.
Raincoaster, I don’t think it would be very convenient to change it each time. Can you explain further how to establish a second ID? Or is that something that I would have needed to do before creating the second blog?
