Do not own identity when posting to a blog

  I am trying to post a comment on a blog and it says I don’t own my identity. Is there a special way to put information into a blog when it gives options of using WordPress. This is what it shows as an example:
  http://username.wordpress.com

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yeah: don’t use OpenID. Just use Name/URL. It won’t show your avatar, but you don’t HAVE an avatar, so that doesn’t matter.
