    screen went blank. then screen with title and text options came back. no sidebar to put category etc. then sticky thing came on and won’t go away i want that whole symbol to to away i just want to write another dam blog and the whole thing sucks anymore

    Have you tried clicking the “cog” at the top to enable/disable the post settings when editing a post.
    For any other problems could you explain where on your site you are working and provide more details of the issues you are facing?

    @debandtoby, it sounds like your browser had an issue. Were you using wordpress.com/post or wp-admin to write? Or, were you using an app?

    If you’re missing a post that you were writing, can you send its title so we can try to find it?

    If you want to send more details we can help you troubleshoot this, although I did notice you’ve been able to post since then.
