Do not want real name associated to public with my blog

    I entered my email address and it contains my actual name. I do not want my legal name associated with this blog. It keeps changing my username from my real name to the name that I put on my blog which is the one I prefer. How do I keep my real name away from the blog?

    Now I am trying to blog hop my post to a group study I am doing. When I try to cut and paste the URL the site I’m sending it to says it only accepts permalinks. The tutorial I watched on permalinks said to click on the name of your post and the URL would change to a permalinks but the URL doesn’t change. Can you tell me how to fix this or the best way to blog hop from my blog? Thank you.

    No because the URL on the blog does not transfer to the other blog spot. They require a link specific to that particular post. If you want to look at it you have my email, my username is [removed] and my password is [removed]. Please let me know as soon as possible what I need to do. It may have something to do with the fact that my blog is private? Feel free to check it out and let me know. Thanks.

    Hi there!

    I’ve removed your username and password from you previous post. Please go and change your password immediately. You should never post information like passwords or credit card details to public forums. Anyone can see these posts and use that information to compromise your accounts.

    To help me understand what’s going on, is the name frankiebirkhead the name you want or the name you don’t want? Is the name you’re seeing appearing on your own site? Or on another site? Can you give me a link to where your name is appearing?

    Instead of clicking on the title of the post, can you try clicking on the date the post was published? That should take you to the permalink. Is this a post on your WordPress.com site that you’re trying to share to Blogspot?
