Do not want to crop header

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi!
    I’m using the Baskerville theme and I love it. The only problem is the header. I find it too small. A couple of weeks ago i put this into my CSS:

    .header {
    height: 600px;
    }

    and was so happy that it looks the way I wanted it to! Now the problem is that I want to change my header picture, but it’s impossible to do that without cropping my new picture. Which now makes it looks awful. Why didn’t I have to do this with my old picture? Is there a way to solve my problem.
    PS. My header picture is still the old one, let me know if it would be helpful to change it to what I want to be my new one, so that you can see what I mean by ‘awful’.

    Thanks in advance!

    Can you give me a link to the header image you are wanting to use now? I would suggest going to Media > Add New and upload the image there so that it is full size for now and then I can help you get it in at the size you want it.
