Do pages HAVE to look like the post page?
-
Is there any way to put in pages that DON’T have the header and side bar like the page with the blog posts? Thst is controlled by CSS, right? Is there any way to blobk the CSS on a page so it can be straight html?

I’m pretty sure that all of the elements on the pages and posts use the same ids. So if you were to make the sidebar display=none/visibility=hidden, then it would be hidden for your entire site (posts and pages).
So I’m almost positive that the answer is no.

It depends; some themes have no sidebar on the individual post pages, only on the main blog page.
But if you just want a page of straight HTML it’s easier to do it elsewhere and link to it. You’d have to get quite fancy with CSS to do anything even approaching that here.
