do people need a wp account to comment on a blog

  i have another blog im setting up and i want to make it so people don’t have to log in, i want them to just be able to comment is there a way to do that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  This can be configured in your discussion settings:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/

  Make sure ‘Users must be registered and logged in to comment ‘ is not checked, and your readers will not have to be WordPress.com members to comment.

  If you leave ‘Comment author must fill out name and e-mail’ checked, they do not need to be WordPress.com members, but they’ll have to submit to you a name and email along with their comment. But if you’re okay with people commenting anonymously, you can uncheck that as well.

  thank you, i assumed because it asked for email and name that it required that and if you put in email or name then it makes you log in but if you just hit post it will post
