Do portfolio pages show up in search results?

    I am setting up a blog using the WordPress “Illustratr” themes and using Portfolio pages instead of Pages. If I tag these portfolio pages, will they show up in WordPress search results like a normal post? Or are portfolio pages not searchable?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi kristenmluby.

    Generally a page will show up in search results (both WordPress search or Google search) if it has a unique URL.

    The Portfolio pages that you create with the “Illustratr” theme will very likely be available in search.

    In many cases, tagged pages also show up in search results.
