Do "Posts" "Pages" "Feedback"="All content"?

    Do “Posts”+”Pages”+”Feedback”=”All content”?

I use the Export function to back up my blog, and the Export function has now been reconfigured

Because my blog is now so large, as I expected the new single selection “All content”, which claims to export all of the following

“All content This will contain all of your posts, pages, comments, custom fields, terms, navigation menus and custom posts.”

crashes when used on a blog as large as mine.

Karen A of Support was kind enough to, without my asking, create a one-time “All content” export file for me. This one-time effort on her part, obviously, will not solve ongoing backup needs.

The Export function also has three lesser options, Posts, Pages, and Feedback, each of which can be broken into successive time periods in order to capture all the respective Post, Page, or Feedback content of a blog as large as mine.

My problem currently is two-fold. The nature of Karen A’s response to my inquiry indicates to me that WordPress has no current plans to offer drop down boxes under the “All content” selection to enable it to be used on large blogs.

This problem might be circumvented if it were actually the case that Posts + Pages + Feedback in fact equaled the total content suggested in the

“All content This will contain all of your posts, pages, comments, custom fields, terms, navigation menus and custom posts.”

Assuming “All content” will not any time soon be breakable into successive time periods as it had been in the previous configuration, does the total blog data exported under Posts + Pages + Feedback equal the total blog data exported under

“All content This will contain all of your posts, pages, comments, custom fields, terms, navigation menus and custom posts.” ?

If it does not, and there is nothing on the new Export page to indicate that it does, and if “All content” cannot be used at will by the owner of large blogs, what workaround can still be applied to the Posts + Pages + Feedback options the large blog owner can utilize to bring it up to the complete data exported/backed up under

“All content This will contain all of your posts, pages, comments, custom fields, terms, navigation menus and custom posts.” ?

This situation will affect all owners of large blogs like mine.

Please don’t post a question more than once: it can cause confusion when volunteers answer in different threads. We do know how to find unanswered questions, and when someone can give you accurate information, they will.
