Do project tags show up in reader?

I am new to wordpress and created a project with project tags on https://developmentbookclub.wordpress.com. I would like people to be able to find the project but I’m not sure if project tags show up in reader. If not, is there a way to keep the project look with posts? Thanks!

Thank you. Is there a short code or way to link portfolio covers to posts?
I would like to have a portfolio with book covers that link to posts. When I try that, the featured image leads to a project page which then leads to the post when you click the image. Is there a way to cut the middle part out?

Maybe a better question to as is: Is there a way to link portfolio projects to category pages?
So there would be a page or portfolio of images (book covers), click on an image and you go to a category page with posts for just that book.What is happening now is I have a page with the portfolio images, when I click on the image it goes to the corresponding project, clicking on the image again in the project then goes to the category page.
