Do share button counters count my own shares?

Just wondering if, say, the counter on my twitter share button will count each time I share the link to that post, or just when someone clicks on the button to share it? My counter numbers are higher than I anticipated, but if they are counting my own tweets, fb posts, etc, then that makes a big difference.

Hi. Yes, they count your own shares.
(I found that out the hard way last year when the feature was introduced) -
