Do share numbers stop increasing at 10K on Facebook Button?

  I recently wrote a post that went viral and was being highly shared. Since it reached 10k+ shares it has received over 80,000 more views and yet has not gone up to 11K+. Has it simply not received a thousand more shares or does the Facebook button stop showing numbers over 10K?

  ALL Facebook shares are not showing up today, it seems. There are several reports of it in the forum, including mine.

  Congrats on the sharing and hits, though. Maybe you’re so popular you broke the Share counter!
