  I was looking for wordpress blogs by other painters and found almost none. Then, I wondered if tags help, so I changed many of my own tags to include art, painting, etc. Looked again — same list of not much.

  If I want my blog to be found by other artists looking for art blogs; where do I mention that I am a painter to get the most bang for my non-buck?

  In your Profile and Blog Description on your About page on your blog;
  In your Profile on all blog directories, forums, online groups, social media and social networking sites.
