Do the author's views count in stats?
-
I know this is already frequently asked question and I know that this link (https://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/) will tell me that my views as an author logged in aren’t reflected in the stats, but tell me why whenever I review my stats, such as on July 6, I’ll see that me, as an author, viewed one of my posts 5 times, one once, and another also once, then when I go up to the overall stats, I see the post I viewed 5 times, viewed five times, and the two posts I viewed once each, also viewed once each. See, I’m logged in so it shouldn’t count. Additionally, it says that there were six visitors that day and a total of 11 views, so that means that my seven viewings can’t possibly count as the six people would somehow have to split the 4 views between themselves. If I could have uploaded a screenshot, it would have been much easier to explain, but that’s okay. I just want an accurate view count excluding myself and an explanation for why mine at least appear to be counting. Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks timetheif! I took a screenshot of another day and posted it here:

My views and the overall views look way to similar for my comfort. -
I think I partially figured out the problem…I don’t know who or how, but I think someone’s logged into my admin account because I was refreshing my stats today/yesterday night and I made sure not to view ANY of my posts but when I refreshed, it said I had viewed like 2 of my blog posts, one of them several times. This being said, that explains why the admin’s views are counting in the admin section even though I myself didn’t personally view them, but it still leaves the main question of why the admin views (mine or someone using my account somewhere) are counting in the overall stats

Hi there,
While you’re logged in to your account, any visits to your site (as long as it isn’t a private site) will not be counted in your site’s stats. If you’re looking at the “Author” box on your stats page, that shows you how many posts or pages written by a specific author were viewed by other people (not your own views as an author on the site). That’s mainly for the benefit of blogs with multiple authors — since you’re the only author, all of the posts are written by you. :)
