Do the WordPress servers have the capacity?

  I’m working on a project detailed below. I wonder if WordPress has the capacity to handle millions of hits. I ask this because I’ve had some high level support for the project and it might take off?? (This is not the finished version.)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes, we host http://tv.msnbc.com/ and http://news.blogs.cnn.com/ and many other similar organizations that get millions of hits a day.
