Do themes have max. page lengths??

    Hello

I’m trying to add some material to a page in my blog and even when I add spacing in HTML, like </div> <div>, the text won’t go to the next line. The page is: http://etdesign.eu/projects-3/
The other problem is that I make the changes and it looks fine, but then in a preview or in the saved page, the text isn’t the way it looked in edit.

Is it because of the theme I’m using?

    Please help! Thank you!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No it’s not because of the theme, it’s because the post editor isn’t a full WYSIWYG editor: it’s the same no matter what the theme while themes vary greatly in width.

As for the text that “won’t go to the next line”, I’m assuming you’re referring to “Bible Schools”, “Schools” etc. This text shows up next to the image because you’ve set the image alignment to left, which means text-wrap. You can cancel that by pasting this after the image code:
    <br style="clear:both;" />

To fully control the arrangement of multiple images and bits of text, you need table coding.

And what do you mean by “add spacing in HTML, like </div> <div>”? That’s no way to add spacing. See here for starters:

Formatting text pt. 1: blank lines, alignment, wrap-around, two columns

    Ya sou Panaghioti!

Thank you very much for your reply and the information. I did what you suggested and it looks great!

I’ll study the info in the page you gave the link to also.

By the way, that </div> <div> is something I read in this forum. But it didn’t work!

    Ha! You’re welcome!

(An empty div may be something you read in this forum, but it’s something you should forget: among other things, it’s stripped out if you switch the editor to Visual. And in general you shouldn’t rely on extra spaces or extra blank lines to arrange text in relation to images: the results won’t be the same in all browsers and versions.)

    “</div> <div>”
This will never work anyway: closing tag is before the beginning. ;-)

Ah, it’s a transcedental div: a silent unopened by silently not closed div!
