Do Viewers Have to Join WordPress?

  Inviting viewers seems to require them to sign up for WordPress. Can this be avoided?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  just share your link and they can look unless it is a private website then you need to give each permission and thus need a log in.

  Since yours is set to private they need permission and a log in.
