Do wordpress host my website?

    Respected Word press,
    Sir/Mam, I have a website made by wordpress, my hosting partner is BLUE HOST INDIA, Does wordpress host websites made by itself? If it is then how to take hosting service from wordpress.

    Hi there!

    WordPress come in two flavors: WordPress.com and WordPress.org.

    With WordPress.org, you use the self-hosted, open source version of the WordPress software, it means you host your own blog. It also means you can freely upload and install themes and plugins, edit the code behind your site, have access to your site’s database, etc. But it also means more responsibility (you have to take care of backups, security, etc.).

    With WordPress.com instead, you don’t have to download software, pay for hosting, or manage a web server. WordPress.com takes care of all of the hostings, security, backup. etc. On the other hand, with a free plan, you can’t upload any custom themes, plugins or modify the code behind your blog. Some of this options are available with an Upgraded Plan.

    At the moment, you are using WordPress.org (the self-hosted, opensource version) with BlueHost. If you want to transfer your domain to WordPress.com because you think it may be a better solution for your site, you can do that with Domain Mapping. It means you map the domain you already own to WordPress.com and if you want you can even choose the option to move your domain registration and billing from your current domain provider to WordPress.com. You will need an upgraded plan in order to map a domain. You can also have a look at this support guide about transferring domains.

    I really feel great that some one is here to help me and guiding me. Sir, I am a student from India, I don’t know how to design my wordpress website ,and really I am getting confuse and I don’t have a background in engineering.
    I wan’t a neat design for my website, A design in my mind but due to lack of skills about web designing I am unable to do what really want to do.
