Do WordPress.org sites show up in the WordPress reader?
-
I write for a blog called GoalGetter. The website is http://www.beagoalgetter.net.
It’s a wordpress.org site. Do the posts I write for my website show up on the WordPress Reader?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, users can follow self-hosted WordPress (WordPress.org) sites on their WordPress.com Reader.
As mentioned in this section, one can add self-hosted WordPress (WordPress.org) sites on this page to follow updates on the WordPress.com Reader.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have questions.

Hi there,
Just to expand on what @strikebuys said, any site with an RSS feed can be followed in the Reader by adding it manually in the Manage section of the Reader.
Additionally, if you connect your site to WordPress.com with the Jetpack plugin, your posts will also be discoverable in the Reader’s Search feature and in related posts, and you can add a follow button to your site that people can click to follow your site on WordPress.com.

I’ve installed the Jetpack plugin, so based on your answers, I assume that my posts should automatically be discoverable in the Reader’s Search feature.
Thank you!

At least one person needs to follow your site in the Reader, but once that is true people should be able to find it via Search, yes. At this time Jetpack sites are not included in tag searches, though, only the main Reader Search.
