Do written sex scenes violate the limitations on Mature Content?

  I am considering the idea of creating a WordPress blog in the future in order to host a web serial. The web serial I am planning to write will contain sex scenes that will describe in detail the acts performed, although the story will not be centered around such scenes. No sexually explicit images will accompany the text.

  The limitations on Mature Content target pornographic images and videos, images and text promoting child pornography, and text and links supporting prostitution/escort services; without any explicit mention of written pornography (e.g. 50 Shades of Gray).

  Do written scenes describing sex in detail, in spirit, still violate the limitations on mature content and thus lead to the blog’s termination? Or will the blog only be required to be labeled as Mature Content?

  What you describe is called erotica, and is allowed under those guidelines, as long as you report your site to us as mature.
