Do you get to keep a premium theme after your business subscription has expired?

  I’m interested in upgrading my account and buying a premium theme. The business bundle includes access to the premium themes for a year. What happens at the end of the year? Are you able to keep the premium theme you were using? Do you own it like you would if you bought the theme a la cart?

  Hey, folks! Any business subscribers out there?

  More explanation for my question above:

  I have a free/basic account with a few paid add-ons. I want a few more add-ons, plus a premium theme so I’m going to upgrade my account.

  The pro bundle is $100 and the business bundle is $300. The theme I want is $150, so I’m leaning toward the business bundle because it includes access to the premium themes.

  However, I’m not clear on what happens to the premium theme after the first year of subscription if I don’t renew at the business level. Would I lose the premium account I activated during my subscription?

  Anyone have experience with this?

  Hi,

  WordPress.com Business allows you to have unlimited theme access while you have it subscribed. Under the current plan, when WordPress.com Business is removed (canceled or expired) all of that stuff would turn off and your site would default to a free theme.

  You would need to purchase the premium theme you were using (that purchase would never expire). As a side note, if you had any Custom Design tweaks (colors, fonts, CSS), you would need to subscribe to that as well.
