Do you have suggestions for a free host for my audio files (to replace FileDen)?

  Hello. I’m looking for a free hosting website for my audio files (to replace FileDen). For two years I’ve uploaded these files to FileDen and then linked the related URL’s to the WordPress embedded audio player, but recently FileDen has experienced many issues that have caused the files (between 150 & 200 of them) to be unavailable. Based on comments at their Facebook page, many of their customers…if not all of them…have been affected, and FileDen has not communicated at all. Of course this means that none of the highlighted songs at my blog are playable, so if anyone can recommend some alternatives I would greatly appreciate it.

  I forgot to mention that I tried OpenDrive which seems like a really good site, but their basic/free subscription (which hosts up to 5GB) doesn’t include linkable URL’s.

  Just a friendly follow-up to see if anyone has suggestions for me. It’s pretty frustrating to host a music blog where half the music files aren’t functioning (at least the embedded YouTube clips still work). Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  Another site that provides direct URLs, like Fileden does, is http://kiwi6.com/.
