Do you have to create a WordPress account to follow a blog on any of the apps?

  I have a follower that downloaded the Blackberry App and it is asking for a user name and password. Do you have to create a blog in order to view a blog that you are following on any of the Apps (iOS, Android and Blackberry)?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You don’t have to create a blog, but you do have to create a WP.com username account to follow blogs via the app, which is essentially the same as following the blog via the Reader on a pc. The support pages for the BB app can be found here: http://blackberry.wordpress.org/faq/

  If that follower doesn’t want to create a WP.com account, they can also simply follow your blog’s feed in another compatible RSS feed reader, rather than the app, or via email subscription if you have the follow blog widget on your site. http://en.support.wordpress.com/feeds/
