Do you have to download an application to view VideoPress videos?

  Hello. We just installed the VideoPress upgrade, but we want to make sure our audience will be able to see the videos with little hassle.

  Will VideoPress videos play on computers, tablets and smartphones without viewers having to download anything extra, such as QuickTime? (Is it as easy as watching a YouTube video, for example?)

  If not, if a user doesn’t have the appropriate application, is a link automatically displayed so they can easily install it?

  VideoPress should play natively in most browsers with no other software required, otherwise viewers will need to download the Flash player from Adobe, but that’s it.

  If they need Flash, but don’t have it installed, they’ll see a notice about it.
