do you have to have a wordpress account to post a comment on a blog?

    When someone visits my blog, do they have to be a member or have an account with wordpress to leave a comment on my blog or can anyone leave a comment? I’d like to allow anyone the ability to leave a comment because we’re trying to attract the broader public.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Not unless you have it set up under settings > discussion that they have to be registered and logged in to comment. It is an option.

    By default it is set up so that anyone can comment. Review all the settings at settings > discussion and tailor it to your desires.
