  hi, I just canceled the membership and try to use my domain on another site, but it’s says that is taken. How long do I have to wait before I can get my domain back?

  Are you speaking of hoothomeinspections.com?

  Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again somewhere else in future. Only cancel a domain if you’re completely sure you no longer want it at all.

  In this case we no longer have control over that domain. It might become available to register somewhere else within the next day or two, but if not it means someone else has already bought it, in which case you won’t be able to use it again.
