    I used a website name but it picked up that name with some numeric characters.Why it is so

    Hi there,

    It is because website address medleyofthoughts.wordpress.com has been already taken by someone else.

    It is free domain which comes with WordPress.com in it. You can try some other combination of words while selecting domain name, also don’t select anything on first page when you start creating website.

    Custom domain medleyofthoughts.com seems available but it will come under paid upgrade of WordPress.com
