  Hi,

  Simple question (for some, I hope!): After we upload a PDF to WP and add it to a page as a link to a new tab to preview the file, the new tab has a very complex domain: https://1q3b4h3e3g3t30d8621ylzxr-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/Year/Month/FileName.pdf

  Can we hide everything but the FileName.pdf or have domain.com/FileName.pdf?

  You are in the wrong forum a your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform but uses the open source wordpress.org. It seems this problem is cause by wpengine.com, so they are the people able to help you,

  Thanks! I selected the site by mistake it is for a WP.com running Engine.
