document_referrer spam

    I’ve just come on to my site to check my stats and there has been a massive spike in my stats. One UK referrer seems to have checked out every single page on my blog (all three years worth, 154 views) with the referrer being shown as document_referrer.

    Is this something to worry about, it screams of spam activity.
    I can’t find any information anywhere.

    Hi @sjdonaldson, have you marked the referrer as spam yet? Click the three dots and choose to mark them as spam. This doesn’t remove the stat, as far as I’m aware, but it will keep them from appearing in your referrers until they leave you alone.
