  Hey there,

  You won’t find a plugin tab in the dashboard because plugins are installed and utilized solely for a self-hosted WordPress.org sites. Plugins can only be installed on WordPress.com if you have the Business Plan Upgrade:

  https://wordpress.com/business/

  They are usually used for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

  The good news is that there are plenty of plugins already bundled and configured within the WordPress.COM blog/site. You can find out about bundled WordPress.com plugins here:
