Does a .com domain revert to a .wordpress.com site and is the content preserved?
-
I just need to know if I allow my domain to expire will I still have all the content of my blog under my .wordpress.com as it was before I bought my domain? Or is everything deleted?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your content is safe and sound. If you decide to let your domain expire your URL will go back to http://lindaghill.wordpress.com/.
Let me know if you need anything else!

Actually, one other thing. I know that if someone clicks an old link that’s, for instance, whatever.wordpress.com and the whatever domain is bought, the click will redirect to whatever.com, but how about the other way around? If the .com isn’t renewed will the link automatically go back to the wordpress account?

Good question. If you let the domain expire it will no longer redirect to your site. It will either go to a blank or sales type page or the website of whomever buys it.
