Does a free, one page scrolling theme exist in WordPress dot com?

    Hi, am fairly sure I the answer to my question will be ‘no, go get a dot org,’ but just in case –

    In the basic free WordPress.com, is there a one page scrolling theme where you can create a custom menu and jump to an anchor further down the page – but instead of jumping straight there do a smooth scroll instead? I mean free WordPress.com now has a theme supporting background video, so just thought I’d check in case some other scrolling technology just got included?

    Hi there, actually there are several such free themes available:
    https://wordpress.com/themes/free/filter/one-page and you can check out each theme’s demo page to see how it works.

    If a theme offers background video, the recommendation is to have a backup static image for mobile due to data charges. But at the moment it looks like Twenty Seventeen is the only free theme that offers header video.
