does a new domain name also gives you a new email address?

Hello. If I upgrade to a new domain name (from myname.wordpress.com to myname.net for example), do I get also an email address (like (email visible only to moderators and staff))? Thanks.

Hi there. You can create a custom email for your domain, but it doesn’t happen automatically. You have to set it up yourself. If you choose to have a third-party email service host your email address there might be additional costs involved.
