Does an exclamation mark next to a comment in Notifications indicate spam?

    When I click on the Notifications button, in the drop-down list there are two comments waiting for my moderation. The comments have an exclamation mark to the left of them – as I understand it, this indicates spam (or at least trouble of some sort). When I hover over the author’s web address in Comments, only a Gravatar appears. Should I let the comments go through?

    Hi there,

    I took a look at those two comments and they are perfectly fine – not spam. :)

    In your settings (Settings > Discussion page) you have it set that all comments must be approved, so that’s all it’s reminding you to do. You can approve the comments by going to Comments in your Dashboard.
