IM LOOKING FOR ALL BLACK TEMPLETS THAT ARE JUST REALLY PLAIN IF U CAN HELP ME THAT WOULD BE NICE OR IF YOU KNOW A SITE THAT HAS COOL TEMPLETES.

It would also be nice if you didn’t type in all capitals, and spelled templates correctly.

Also, at WP.com you can only use the existing templates offered. So there’s not much point looking around for other ones.

If you are blogging here at wordpress.com, you might want to check out Wank’s photo blogging skin for Sandbox: http://ntuat.wordpress.com/2008/02/26/photowp-for-sandbox/ . Although it is aimed at photobloggers, it is dark and has a wide content area.

To use it you would have to have the paid CSS upgrade so that you could insert Wank’s custom CSS.

black themes……
you sound like me a newbee
at the top of your blog – if you are in, edit mode, you will see PRESENTATION click on it then THEMES
there are quite a few very black templates there!
just make sure you can read the type
not sure if you can change the font colours or the font size
many black themed blogs are really hard to read as the type is to dark and too small
could be an age thing. get friends to look at it on their machines to give you feed back
also look at it on different browsers
i’ll critic your blog for free!
be warned i m not known for tack when i do this

i don’t know if you are aware that your blog link is not activated ie i think your ‘name’ or ‘member’ under or next to your avitar – your signature photo in the small box
i struggled for weeks to solve this issue
go to:
VIEW YOUR PROFILE top right of this page
there is a link to edit your profile
if yrs doesn’t work then go to your blog profile
and in the right boxed list – where it says website – make sure that your blog url/address is there and
voila! you have linked your name with your blog!
good luck – i’ve found people are really kind and helpful here
