  Really struggling with the inability to speak to a human for some help. Has anyone on here actually been able to get through to them?

  If you are referring to the WordPress.com support staff, they are present in this forum every day.

  With posting, you can ask for a staff response by adding a modlook tag to your post:

  You can add a modlook tag to a post at any time.

  If you have an upgraded (paid) WordPress.com hosting plan, you can receive support more interactively through live support chat.

  Posting and live support chat (or email if chat is unavailable) is how you communicate with the WordPress.com support staff.

  On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

  If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help from the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead. That software is made by a community of unpaid volunteers and isn’t owned by a company that can employ support staff, so support is provided by the same people who make that software in the public forums on WordPress.org.
