Does CHAOS THEORY have an email option?

  Hello. I am using CHAOS THEORY for my DOLLS blog.

  I want to eliminate those white comment boxes on the page because they are very distracting and to substitute them with an option to send me an EMAIL.

  However, I do not see any EMAIL Page or Widget in CHAOS THEORY. Am I stuck with no possibility for someone to send me email?

  I really dislike those white comment boxes. So ugly.

  Use the Contact Form. Disable Comments on your Settings->Discussion page. But the Contact Form is ugly, too. You could just put your email in the sidebar in a text widget so people can email you.

  I just now checked and see that the big white box is the the INDEX PAGE that is to be the first, top page all the time. The Index page has links to all the chapters with the slideshows for THE DOLLS.

  I DON’T MIND having those white Comment boxes in the Posts underneath the slideshow, actually.

  What I dislike is that white box that is actually or the INDEX PAGE/First page. It gives a bad first impression. <b> How can I get rid of that white box in the INDEX PAGE? </B>

  I forgot to say that I actually did go to Settings>Discussions and selected and deselected all that would make me have no comment boxes for posts. They still have that white box, but in the Posts page, that is ok.

  You can disable comments on any particular page by editing it; there’s a section in the sidebar on the right sidebar of the Edit page where you can enable/disable comments.

  Raincoaster, I went and made a Contact Form — thank you for the tip. :-)
  Now, however, how do I get rid of the big white box on the first page / The Index page?

  I was mistaking that as a Post Comment form but as I said, it is a Comment form for the Index page. I cannot find anywhere in the Dashboard that will eliminate that white box.

  Changes made in Settings>Discussion don’t affect posts or pages already published. As raincoaster said in her last post above, you need to disable the comments of the particular page (page editor: Discussion module).

  But…… that is what I did. I went to Settings > Discussions and did not select the box that said, “Allow comments for first time posts.”

  But the problem not having comments on my posts any more.My problem is getting rid of that white box on the page:

  Read more carefully please: changes made in Settings>Discussion don’t affect posts or pages already published. You need to go to the page editor of the particular page and untick its comment options in the Disussion module.
