Does custom CSS reset if I change my theme?

  Is custom css tied to the currently active theme or does it apply to all themes? Meaning if I work on css and then change the theme does the custom css reset with the new theme?

  Each theme has its own CSS so if you switch themes, you’ll have revise its style sheet.

  Right but if I have custom css, and I edit the theme. Do those edits stay in the custom css when I change themes? I understand that the sectors wont match.

  No, they will be pulled out, but will remain saved in the revisions. You can get to those revisions by clicking the link at top right above the CSS entry text area in the Custom CSS tab. So if you change themes and then change back to the one you had customized, you can restore that CSS revision.

  @thesacredpath thanks, that is what I suspected. I don’t have the custom css on any of my sites so I couldn’t check for myself.
