Does "Empty Site" remove subscribers and followers?

    I would like to repurpose one of my blogs, and in the process remove the existing subscribers. The new use will be private, and I simply would prefer not to have the old subscribers hanging around. I understand from other posts that this cannot be done manually, but I’m not planning to keep any existing content. So I plan to use “Empty Site” on the Delete Site page. Will that also remove all subscribers?
