Does Facebook Share count stop increasing at 10K ?

  I recently wrote a post that went viral and was being highly shared. Since it reached 10k+ shares it has received over 90,000 more views and yet has not gone up to 11K+. Has it simply not received a thousand more shares or does the Facebook button stop showing numbers over 10K?
