Does Feedburner Help or Hinder?

  Does having a Feedburner Feed help or hinder when one has a Word Press.Com Blog or does it matter one way or the other? I will be so sincerely appreciative of a few opinions about this. Thanks.

  I used Feedburner for years before the WordPress.com subscriptions were introduced. I have successfully moved a blog from WordPress.com to WordPress.org and years later moved it back to WordPress.com and I never lost a single subscriber. I’m still using Feedburner and not wordpress subscriptions.

  If you do plan to set up a WordPress.org in the future you can install and activate the JetPack plugin on it. Then you can get WordPress.com Staff to transfer your wordpress.com email subscribers to it for you.
