Does going to premium include the cost of mapping a domain
-
I’ve recently acquired a domain from go daddy and I’m ready to upgrade to wordpress premium. Do I have to map the domain first and then go premium or can I embed the cost of the mapping in the premium upgrade…?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there!
Domain mapping is a part of the ‘Premium Pro’ package. So, you won’t need to purchase it separately, as the cost is embedded in the premium upgrade.
So, you may upgrade to premium first and then map the GoDaddy domain to your WordPress blog.
Happy Blogging!

Hi
the upgrade to premium requires I put in a wordpress page, but I don’t want to upgrade a wordpress page… I want to map the new address incrementalgains.es to premium not my existing wordpress pages
Can’t see how to do this…
thanks

WordPress.COM upgrades are available for purchase and use on wordpress.COM hosted blogs only. WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins (passwords), features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page -
Domain mapping just changes the address visitors see when they visit your site – all custom domain names using domain mapping need to have a base WordPress.COM blog (whatever.wordpress.com) for domain mapping to be purchased

ok, now I’ve got it, just chatted with support. So the mapping is a pointer to the original wordpress.com page.
In my case I upgrade the base page to premium and then do the mapping
