Does Google Images Result have Image Copyrights?
-
I’m wondering if the results given by the google image search can be used freely. I see movie pictures and other photos attached to other blogs without credits or copy right info. Is that okay if I do so?

The Google images site depicts images form all sites that have been indexed by Google. The vast and overwhelming majority of those images are under copyright and that is why there is a notice posted by Google that states “This image may be subject to copyright.”
The bottom line here is that you cannot just help yourself to images found in Google’s display of indexed images. You must visit each site and look for Terms of Use. If you cannot find terms of use look for a copyright declaration. Unless the copyright holder of the image grants prior approval to use their image you are in breach of copyright if you post it on your blog.
