Does Guided Transfer move ALL the media content?

I have tried the manual export/import method. Sadly not all the media content was transferred and this took some days to even get all the posts imported. There were albums in posts that had pictures associated with the post that did not make it. My next option is to try Guided Transfer, but I am uncertain if even that would transfer everything. Does this service guarantee a transfer of absolutely all the content as well as the set up of plugins to play video and media slideshows (including some flash for Picassa sourced albums) that existed in the wordpress.com hosted blog?

Do you retain any rights to the content transferred or any way use the or keep the content other than what will be on the disabled blog hosted at worldtemnow.org? Does purchase of this transfer service give wordpress any more rights to the content? Is there a published TOS or other agreement for the transfer service itself?

All WordPress.com users retain copyright and rights to their own material. Using the Guided Transfer upgrade does not change your rights to your content.

Hi,
I manually transferred media content from a .com blog to a self hosted .org blog. The media files are in the correct blog posts but the files are not in the .org media library but still on the .com blog.
My new blog basically just accesses the .com media library for those items.
With the guided transfer, do you transfer the media properly into the media library of the self hosted blog?Many thanks,

If you do a complete export of a WordPress.com site that includes your media, your media should be automatically transferred to a new WordPress.org site following an import.
If you purchase the Guided Transfer upgrade, our staff will assist you with this process, but it should not be necessary to purchase the upgrade for this to work properly.
